| Kalajärvi Camping – the best!
National Caravan – magazine published in issue 1/2008 the winner of grand camping survey: Kalajärvi is the number one in Finland! Kalajärvi, which is located in Seinäjoki, was the superior winner with 32 votes. 521 caravan travellers took part to the survey. They can be considered as camping experts, since almost half of them (47%) has been visiting more than seven different camping areas in Finland.
Kalajärvi got praised over its functionality, cosiness, pleasant environment and it was described as good-looking and clean camping area. According to respondents, area offers something to everybody and the service is excellent. The beach is great and also places to pick berries nearby were praised. Extra mention for Kalajärvi from the respondents was child-friendliness, which has been also the goal for its officials and for the owner, to the city of Seinäjoki.
